Abril Ribera, born in Barcelona in 1977, has forged her career in the fascinating world of jewellery since her beginnings in Enric Majoral’s workshop in 1994.
Her dedication and passion for the craft led her to collaborate closely in the design of Majoral’s new collections from 2003 onwards.
International recognition came in 2012, when Abril Ribera and Roc Majoral were awarded for their exceptional work together on the gold design of the Tresor Necklace, winning the prestigious Couture Design Award for Gold in Las Vegas, USA.
In 2014, Abril decided to go her own way, settling in Tarifa, Cadiz. It is here that she brings to life some of her most emblematic creations, such as the Erizos and Abanicos collections.
The year 2022 marks a new chapter in Abril Ribera’s career, when she decides to return to her hometown, Barcelona. Her aim is to fuse traditional jewellery craftsmanship with the latest technologies, thus creating the Kimono Collection. This collection represents the harmonious convergence between the past and the future of jewellery, where Abril explores the endless possibilities offered by modern working methods.
Abril Ribera continues to leave an indelible mark on the jewellery world for many years to come.
